Legal framework
Our handling of personal data is based primarily on Dominican Republic Law No. 172-13 on the comprehensive protection of personal data. Depending on the user’s location and the individual situation, additional mandatory legal provisions may also apply.
What data do we process?
When the website is accessed, the server may process technical connection data needed to deliver and protect the service. When you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, subject, message, selected language, a hashed IP address for abuse and rate-limit protection, and the browser user agent. The application does not store the plain IP address in the contact request. Hosting infrastructure may keep separate technical server logs according to its configuration.
Purpose of processing
We use the data to operate and secure the website, prevent misuse, process and answer your inquiry, and send the requested confirmation email. We do not sell contact data and do not use contact-form data for advertising or newsletters.
Cookies and tracking
The new public website uses only a technically necessary PHP session cookie for security functions such as CSRF protection and temporary status messages. It is a session cookie and normally expires when the browser session ends. We do not use analytics, advertising or third-party tracking cookies in the new public frontend.
Technical service providers
Hosting, database and email delivery use technical infrastructure provided by easyname. Data may be processed on systems used to provide these services where technically necessary.
Storage period
Contact inquiries are kept only for as long as they are needed to process and follow up the inquiry, maintain security and evidence where necessary, or comply with legal obligations. Data is deleted or blocked when it is no longer required, unless a legal obligation or legitimate legal interest requires continued retention.
Your rights
Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you may request information about or access to your personal data, correction or updating, cancellation or deletion, and you may object to processing. Requests can be sent to office@corporacionlutz.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational safeguards. These include HTTPS in production, hardened sessions, CSRF protection, access controls and hashing the IP address used for contact-form rate limiting. No internet transmission can be guaranteed to be absolutely secure.
External websites
Our project pages may link to external websites. Once you follow such a link, the privacy rules and technical practices of the respective operator apply. We do not embed external analytics or advertising trackers in the new public frontend.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy when the website, our processing activities or legal requirements change. The current version is always the one published on this page.
